The basketballer star said the team was looking forward to the challenge of playing Hobart, a team that has defeated Bendigo twice this season.
“They are a tough team and have some pretty great players in terms of how they run their offence,” she said.
“I think it was good that we lost to them, we can now play with a chip on our shoulder.
“We will be in front of our home crowd and, hopefully, that will give us an edge.
“When we play great, I don’t think anybody can beat us.”
Barrett said the team would spend the week researching her opponents, including league's leading point scorer Cayla Francis.
"I guarded her a bit last game and this week I will just try and study her and point out her weaknesses and strengths," she said.
"But with a player like her you can't shut down her down, you have to maintain her and limit everybody else."
Coach Jonathon Goodman said his team would go into the final as under-dogs.
"They are the favourites, they are a quality side they have some quality players, we just have to make sure we do a job and do what is right for us and, hopefully, everything will take care of itself," he said.
Bendigo will play Hobart on Saturday at the Bendigo Stadium, tip-off is at 7.30pm.
Tickets for the game will go on sale at 10am on Tuesday at Bendigo Stadium in Marong Road, West Bendigo.
