Geoff Stephens and Arnel Aquino will travel to a cluster of islands called Do Ong near Bantayan this week to deliver building supplies and help construct houses.
Mr Stephens said the Bendigo Filipino Foundation was set up in the wake of the disaster and had since been used to send 200 boxes of food and clothing to Do Ong.
"It's been fabulous. Whether it's clothing, a food donation or money, it's been tremendous," he said.
This will be the second trip to the Philippines this year for the pair to help with the rebuilding process.
Mr Stephens said the foundation hoped to fund the construction of 52 homes on Do Ong. "At the moment there is no hope, they can't leave the island and they have no livelihood," he said.
"They are beautiful people and they deserve our help."
Mr Aquino, who is Filipino, said he could not imagine what the people of Do Ong were going through.
"They live in tents. Anything that can be done to help makes a difference," he said.
Mr Stephens said the aid effort would be ongoing and the foundation was in talks with City of Greater Bendigo.
