The Boomers will play-off against Slovenia in its first pool match in Gran Canaria in Spain.
The game will be played live on ABC2 at 1.26am.
Australia will play five games in six days prior to the knockout phase of the competition.
The Boomers will also play Korea, Mexico and Angola in the remaining World Cup preliminary rounds.
The World Cup will run between August 30 and September 15.
