The conference includes businesses from across Victoria speaking with more than 1000 delegates from the local and global mining and resource sector.
Australian Turntable Company mining division director Ben Chapman said the company was in discussions over a number of exciting upcoming projects.
"We're currently in discussions with the Adelaide Convention Centre," he said.
"The centre has a tiered seating arrangement and they want to be able to reduce and increase the capacity for different events.
"Our proposal would allow them to move the seating arrangements."
UPDATE 12.00PM: Deputy premier Peter Ryan announced a $95,000 contribution to the Bendigo Tourism - Destination Management Plan.
The $145,000 plan would cover the City of Greater Bendigo, as well as Mount Alexander, Central Goldfields and Loddon shires.
Mr Ryan made the announcement at the Bendigo Visitor Information Centre.
He said the plan would find new strategies to grow tourism in the region.
The funding came from the Victorian government's Regional Growth Fund.
UPDATE 10.25AM: Peter Ryan promised residents of Heathcote, Marong and Maldon would receive the same price and certainty of supply as Huntly when natural gas is delivered to the towns.
He made the commitment while visited a household in Huntly, where 180 residents are already enjoying the benefits of a direct natural gas connection.
More than 100 additional homes were expected to receive a connection soon, with 580 homes and businesses to have the opportunity of connecting.
Currently without a natural gas connection, Heathcote, Marong and Maldon were part of Stage 3 of the Energy for the Regions program, which would involve CNG or LNG to be trucked to the outskirts of the towns.
The gas would then be reticulated via a storage facility.
The state government was still negotiating with two energy companies over delivering the project.
Mr Ryan said an announcement was expected "soon".
EARLIER: VICTORIAN deputy premier Peter Ryan is in Bendigo this morning to make two announcements.
He will have a toasty warm morning in Huntly thanks to the area's new reticulated natural gas network, where he will visit a local household.
Mr Ryan will "celebrate" the 180 houses already connected, with a further 100 still to come.
The project included 3.5 kilometres of supply pipeline and 13 kilometres of reticulation pipeline.
He will then visit the Bendigo Visitor Information Centre to make a funding announcement for a tourism strategy.
The Victorian Nationals leader will end his day with a tour of the Australian Turntable Company in Kangaroo Flat.
