Leader Daniel Andrews has declared party support for cannabis oil use in the treatment of life-threatening conditions such as cancer, multiple sclerosis, HIV/AIDS, glaucoma and Parkinson's Disease.
Mr Andrews stressed the cannabis would be available for people in 'exceptional circumstances' and ruled out legalising marijuana for recreational use.
Such a stance is sure to warm the hearts of all those fighting for the legalisation of medical cannabis.
