Less than two per cent behind the ladder-leading Sandhurst, the Storm has a chance to grab top spot in the last round of the home-and-away series.
Storm coach Darryl Wilson said on Friday that Everington and Flood would definitely play in the match at Flight Centre Park in Tannery Lane.
It's Flood's first match since being injured in the win against Sandhurst at the QEO in round 12.
It's been an injury-riddled run for Everington this season.
"To have them back a week out from the finals is great news for the club," Wilson said.
Competition for a place in Storm's team will heat up as more are set to return from injury.
Although hot favourite to win this contest, Wilson said Storm could not afford to take South Bendigo lightly.
"We are well aware of what they are capable of doing," Wilson said of the Queen's Birthday holiday Monday clash in which South led 27-25 at quarter-time.
"We still want to bring the desperation and level of play we are capable of, no matter who we are up against," Wilson said.
The play of South's onballers Aaron Connaughton, Daniel Frew, Joel Swatton and ruckman Ben Allen will be vital against a formidale Storm line-up.
The Peter Tyack and Neale Torpey-coached Bloods will be determined to lift after last week's loss to Castlemaine.
