WYCHEPROOF-Narraport pulled off one of the upsets of the North Central Football League season on Saturday, defeating Charlton by 15 points.

The Demons went into the match having won just two games for the season, and after threatening several times to take a scalp, finally did so with their 13.6 (84) to 9.15 (69) victory.
The Demons led by 22 points at quarter-time, but had their advantage reduced to just six points by the long break. However, the Demons held firm in the second half, adding five goals to three to defeat second-placed Charlton.
The Demons’ win was assisted by their superior conversion, with the Navy Blues having five more scoring shots, but paying the price for their inaccuracy.
James Coatsworth kicked seven goals for the Demons and has now booted 14 of their 22 goals over the past two weeks.
Sam Driscoll, Declan Lourey and Robert Fawcett were other strong performers for the Demons.
Travis Baird continued his strong form up forward, kicking six of the Navy Blues’ nine goals. Ben Walklate, Daniel Lloyd and Luke Kyriakides also played well.

The Bulls snuffed out Donald’s hopes of winning its first game of the season when they kicked seven goals to one in the third quarter on the way to a 16.12 (108) to 11.10 (76) victory.
For the third time in the past five games, Daniel Castellano kicked eight goals for the Bulls and was their best player.
Joel Cusack, Zac Holmes and Jacob Christie were others to play well for the Bulls, who take on Boort in round 19 in what will be a game where the winner plays finals, while it’s season over for the loser.
Adam Hall and Seamus Young kicked four goals each for the Royals, whose best were led by Glenn Wyatt and Jack Onley.
• St Arnaud was unable to replicate its round 15 heroics and upset Wedderburn for a second time this season.
The Redbacks thumped the Saints by 89 points, 23.14 (152) to 9.9 (63).
Redbacks’ full-forward Sam Barnes booted nine goals to take his season tally to 91, while Paul Prime’s good form continued with a haul of six. Ben DeAraugo and Daniel Gash were also among Wedderburn’s best.
Nicholas Baldwin, Jobastin Priest and Jacob Patching played well for the Saints, who had Daniel Needs kicked four goals.
