ROCKS on Rosalind is excited to be hosting Two Birds Brewing and BrewCult as part of the Bendigo on the Hop festival on Saturday.
Staff member Finn Vedelsby said Bendigo has become a leader in craft beer appreciation.
"It's thanks to Trev (Birks) and Justin (McPhail) and all the Bendigo Beer committee that the Bendigo beer scene has gone from normal beer to hundreds of different beers," Mr Vedelsby said.
"There's so many venues selling lots of different styles of beers.
"(Bendigo brewers) Brookes Beer opened their cellar door this week, which is another good thing."
Mr Vedelsby said Two Birds beer was full of flavour and always popular while BrewCult would be a new experience for him.
"(Brewer) Hendo's beers are all new to me and I can't wait to try them," he said.
BrewCult is providing an India Pale Ale called Can't Fight the Funk and a brown ale called Get Down American Brown.
"I asked him to send his beer on a courier but he wouldn't because it has to stay at the right temperature," Mr Vedelsby said.
"So he drove it down in his own car just to make sure it's perfect.
"There's only two barrels of each left and we've got them."
Mr Vedelsby said Rocks on Rosalind had gone all out in their preparations which include a marque, outdoor fires, food, comfortable seating and plenty of beers.
Bendigo on the Hop kicks off at 11am at 10 venues across the city including Rocks on Rosalind, The Icon, The Exchange, Mr Beebe's, GPO, Barzurk, Gold Dust, Tap House, Black Swan and The Dispensary Enoteca.
The festival features 36 rare or unique beers from 18 different brewers and wraps up with an after party at Black Swan on Saturday night and a recovery session at Goldmines Hotel on Sunday.
