More than 30 information sessions and workshops will run throughout the day, while the MacGillivray Hall will host an information expo, with a guest speaker.
Acting chief operating officer Jamie Eckett said the open day was an opportunity for future students to talk directly to current students, teachers and support staff.
"We have over 100 courses to choose from, with many having a direct pathway to university," he said.
"We have a strong connection with the local community allowing us to develop training programs directly related to the diverse skills needed."
The open day is on Sunday, August 17, from 10am to 3pm.
