Residents were treated to a spread of the international delicacies as part of a cultural day. Staff and volunteers also dressed up in multicultural garb for an afternoon costume parade.
Mercy Health lifestyle assistant Kaye White said the day aimed to celebrate cultural diversity.
"We have Italian, Maltese, Scottish, Polish and German residents and we have staff members from Italy and India and the Philippines. A staff member has an eclectic assortment of costumes so we had them all dress in beautiful Middle-Eastern shawls and Chinese-style shirts," she said.
