Late last week, Eaglehawk resident Marg Glohe was alerted to a pile of rubbish dumped in the Whipstick Forest.
On inspection, Mrs Glohe noticed the rubbish contained syringes, clothing and plastic among other items.
"What makes this particular pile of rubbish worrying, is the alarming amount of syringes scattered throughout the debris," she said.
"It's a disgrace that someone can be so thoughtless to do this."
However, after sifting through the junk Mrs Glohe came across something she least expected.
Bills, vet accounts, a notice-to-quit letter - all containing a name and address.
"I just don't understand why someone would go to the trouble of driving out into the bush to dump rubbish that would easily fit into domestic bins," she said.
"And to leave their mail with their name and address - I can't believe it.
"I sincerely hope the council issue the largest possible infringement notice to these morons."
Illegal rubbish dumping can be reported to Parks Victoria by calling 13 19 63.
What do you think? Is this the world's most careless criminal?
