The Thunder failed to score in the round 13 clash at Mulgrave Reserve.
The final score was the Eastern Devils 25.20 (170) to Bendigo Thunder 0.0 (0).
Bendigo coach Russell Jeffrey said the team gave 100 per cent all day, but couldn't compete against the stronger and taller bodies of the Eastern Devils.
"They have a much stronger group, they have a really tall ruckman as well, which made it challenging," he said.
Jeffrey said the Thunder had three players play their first game of footy on Sunday.
"If you are looking towards the future then we are continuing to build and it is good to know that we can still attract players," he said.
"These players will continue to improve."
It was Bendigo Thunder's dual premiership captain Emma Wolters' 50th game on Sunday. .
Bendigo will play the St Kilda Sharks in its last game of the season next Saturday at Kangaroo Flat Reserve at 2pm.
