Up to 15 volunteers each day donate their time to the store, helping out with general maintenance of the shop.
Dedicated volunteers, Martin Polvey, Debbie Hall and Susan Goodman (pictured) are part of the team that volunteer in Kangaroo Flat on Tuesdays.
Ms Hall said it was important for people within the community to give back and volunteer.
She said she decided to take up volunteering when she first moved to the city last year.
"I moved from the ACT in last May and decided to become a volunteer at Vinnies in June," Ms Hall said.
"I wanted to meet new people and it has been great so far, it is a lovely environment to be in."
Ms Hall said her main role at the store was to help out wherever she could.
"It is a team effort."
Ms Hall said she would like to volunteer more often.
"It keeps me busy, it is a great way of connecting to the community," she said.
Ms Hall encouraged others to try their hand at volunteering.
"There are different roles at Vinnies, you can be involved with the shop or you can help with welfare," she said.
