The Bendigo club achieved its first victory when it triumphed on Geelong's turf in May.
Since that game, North Geelong has produced a scintillating run of results to storm back into promotion contention.
The Croatian-backed club is undefeated in its past seven matches and sits third on the ladder with a game in hand.
FC Bendigo playing coach Steve Martin is well aware of the task his side faces.
“The first time we played them was a long time ago now, and a lot has changed since then.
“We’ve improved, but they have really been playing well since then too, so it’s definitely going to be a challenge”.
Bendigo put in an impressive showing last weekend when it managed a 3-3 draw against a strong Richmond side.
Martin said the effort of his players against Richmond gave him confidence leading into this ahead.
“It makes it much easier going into a game against a strong side when you are coming off the back of a performance like the one we gave against Richmond.
George Slefendorfas scored two goals and set up Daniel Purdy for another in a man-of-the-match display against Richmond.
The action at Truscott Reserve kicks off when the under-20s play from 1pm before the seniors at 3pm.
