BENDIGO Senior Secondary College students are hosting a fundraiser for a kindergarten at the Nu Po Refugee Camp, in Thailand, tomorrow night.

The fundraiser will involve a screening of The Grand Budapest Hotel at Star Cinema.
Student council co-ordinator Susan Pickles said the idea came about after former students, who had visited the kindergarten, told the school council about its run-down state.
"They noticed the floor and roof of the nursery had big holes," she said.
She said many Karen students had lived in refugee camps, making the fundraiser pertinent to the school community.
