How can you take this letter or the health minister seriously?
Firstly, it contains factual errors. The health minister knows that paramedics work a five on, three off roster.
He knows that paramedics' annual leave consists of four weeks, plus one week for shift work, plus two weeks for public holidays, and the remainder is accrued days off from working on average 42-hour weeks.
Surely someone who was serious about resolving the health crisis would be working with paramedics rather than trying to slander them in the media?
