The Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority granted the college permission to expand to offer year 11 classes and senior secondary VCE next year.
Currently the college offers prep to year 10.
Principal Michael Bond said the plan to expand the college to offer VCE had been in the works for eight years and the community was excited.
"We believe offering prep to VCE at one college is exactly what families in our community are looking for," he said.
The college is preparing to offer a broad range of subjects throughout secondary school and into VCE and aims to prepare our students for a broad range of post school pathway options."
"There has been a great deal of work completed to achieve this registration.
"I wish to acknowledge Miss Michelle Cuddon, head of secondary school, and Mrs Michelle Café, head of senior school for their leadership and dedication to the successful completion of this application."
Mr Michael said the college has employed staff with VCE teaching and leadership skills in anticipation for 2015.
He said the college had developed new infrastructure, including the construction of a secondary school complete with video conferencing facility this year.
The video conferencing will allow students and teachers to work in partnership with other schools and resource providers, and provides scope for "virtual excursions".
The college will offer a number of VCE subjects, including physical education, chemistry, studio arts, biology, theatre studies and mathematics.
The college will host an information evening at 7pm on July 30, giving families the opportunity to ask questions about VCE curriculum in 2015.
Enrolments are now being accepted for prep to year 11 for 2015.
For more information call the college on 5450 3894 or visit, www.kccs.vic.edu.au
The college is located at 98 Wyndham Street, Kerang.
The college will be one of two schools to offer VCE studies to students in Kerang.
