BENDIGO’S Caitlin Thwaites missed just two attempts as Australia scored a 35-point victory in Monday night’s netball match against Trinidad and Tobago at the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games.

Thwaites scored 21 goals at 23 attempts, a tally also matched by Caitlin Bassett.

Tegan Caldwell shot 17 of 20 attempts in the 69-34 victory.

The Australian team includes Kerang’s Julie Corletto, nee Prendergast, in defence.

Australia plays world No.6 South Africa tomorrow.

A win against South Africa will keep the unbeaten Australia on top of pool B and a likely showdown with world No. 4 Jamaica in the semi-finals.
