Hundreds of athletes from many parts of Victoria competed at Bundoora Park.
Noden, 14, raced the 3km distance on the testing layout.
Just six days before his LAV hit-out, Noden won the Bendigo Athletics Club’s race at Crusoe Reservoir near Kangaroo Flat.

The day’s program at Bundoora was 1km for under-7 and under-8, 1.5km for under-9 and under-10, 2km for under-11 and under-12, and 3km for under-13 to under-15.
