The co-lead vocalist of the 1990s band Oasis has owned the two-bedder in the Central Park landmark building Essex House since 2007, when he paid $US3,065,000 for it.
The marketing of the 146-square-metre spread says it has been recently renovated and comes with classic rock star style finishes such as funky black walls, cheetah print wallpaper in the bedroom and a black bathroom, as well as classic herringbone timber floors and a granite kitchen.
The English muso has a well-documented, troubled relationship with his brother and Oasis co-founder Noel, who quit the band in 2009. Liam, who has reportedly claimed to be Beatles legend John Lennon reincarnated, despite being born eight years after Lennon died, has since formed a new band, Beady Eye, with former Oasis band members, and owns a clothing range called Pretty Green.
