THE Bendigo Braves capped a great weekend by winning all four matches they played in the South East Australia Basketball League.
Leaders in the women's east conference, Bendigo Lady Braves won at Sandringham by 26 points.
Bendigo led by a point at quarter-time, but won the next two quarters, 22-10 and 27-15 to be well in control.
Kerryn Harrington achieved a team-high 19 points and had great support from Lasondra Barrett, 16; Alex Bunton, 16; and Rosie Fadljevic, 14.
The Jonathan Goodman-coached Lady Braves won 94-68.
Way up north and the Bendigo Braves kept play-off hopes on track by winning a thriller against Brisbane.
Bendigo fought from 11 points down at half-time to be within a point at a quarter to go.
The Ben Harvey-coached Braves refused to give up and won a superb contest, 79-78.
Imports Dustin Salisbery, 23 points and eight rebounds; and Zac Atkinson, 18 and 13, led the way for Bendigo.
Michael Vigor, 15 and nine, also played a key role against a Brisbane team led by Isaih Tueta, 19 points, Dean Brebner and Daniel George on 14 apiece.
The Braves teams head to Frankston for Saturday night's battles with the Blues.
Bendigo is at home for Sunday's play against Hobart. First match tips off at noon at Bendigo Stadium.
