After trailing by 12 points at the first break, the Redbacks kicked 21 goals to three after quarter-time to win 24.20 (164) to 9.4 (58) at home.
Wedderburn held the Bulls goalless in both the second and final terms in the 106-point win.
Brady Herdman (six), Paul Prime (five for the second week in a row) and Sam Barnes (five) bagged 16 goals between them for the Redbacks in what was their fourth win of the season by more than 100 points.
Herdman, Liam McCarthy (two goals), Daniel Gash and Rohan McHugh were named the four best for the reigning premiers.
The Bulls - who haven’t beaten the Redbacks since 2009 - retained their position in the top four, despite their three-game winning streak ending.
Birchip-Watchem was best served by Albert Simpson, Alex Hutchins and Zac Holmes. Daniel Castellano (three) was the Bulls’ only multiple goalkicker.
• St Arnaud reversed its earlier loss to Boort this season, defeating the Magpies by 28 points in a high-scoring contest at Lord Nelson Park.
The Saints won 20.17 (137) to 17.7 (109) in a game where they led by 15 points at quarter-time and were able to hold the Magpies at bay for the remainder of the match.
Daniel Needs (five goals) and Bradley Palipuaminni (four) were the two best players for the Saints, while Nathan and Nicholas Coghlan kicked three goals each as St Arnaud improved to 9-4.
The defeat keeps Boort, which has lost its past two games, outside the top four on percentage.
The Magpies had good players in Jesse Smith (three goals) and Cameron Milward, as they have been all season, and Jack Dehne.
Mid-season recruit Joel Reynolds kicked three goals.
• Charlton retained second position, while keeping Donald winless with a 79-point victory.
Led by a nine-goal haul from Joseph McGrath, the Navy Blues were 21.11 (137) to 8.10 (58) victors.
As well as McGrath’s nine goals, Travis Baird kicked four in his return for the Navy Blues, who also had James Baird (three goals), Shane Rogan and Ben Walklate play well.
Donald - which started well to lead by eight points at quarter-time - had Andrew Hall (three goals), Luke Carr and Matt Gilmour play solid games.
Donald has the bye next week, before its final three games to try to avoid a winless season.
