THE Bendigo Bank Pioneers take on the young stars from Northern Territory in Sunday's clash in the TAC Cup under-18s football competition at Queen Elizabeth Oval.

Bendigo is desperate to end its winless run, but the task will not be easy against the pacy and skilful Thunder line-up.

The Pioneers welcome back captain Jake Maher after a lengthy stint on the sidelines because of injury.
