The event was a fundraiser for the Friends of Bendigo Art Gallery and featured valuations by highly-regarded valuer and auctioneer Warren Joel.
People paid $10 for Mr Joel to put a price on their family heirlooms with people presenting everything from paintings to china and crystal jugs to brass statues.
Bendigo resident Tom Heenan had a crystal jug and antique plate valued.
Mr Joel said the jug was "probably English", worth up to $300. He said the plate had been transfer decorated, not hand-painted, and was worth about $100.
"It was interesting," Mr Heenan said. "He's quite the showman. We're doing this for my mother, they're her things."
Meanwhile, Undressed: 350 Years of Underwear in Fashion is on show at the Bendigo Art Gallery and features more than 80 historic garments.
