The "Bendigo Region Food & Wine Fossicking" app lists businesses based in the City of Greater Bendigo, Mount Alexander, Central Goldfields and Loddon shires.
The app features photos, maps, social media links and video clips showcasing food and wine in the four shires.
Bendigo Regional Tourism chairwoman Paula Nixon said the app would help businesses build relationships with consumers.
"This new app places travellers and locals in direct contact with venues and rural properties eager to showcase their wares," Ms Nixon said.
"It's a great example of what can be achieved when passionate people put their energies together."
Among the producers included in the app are Simply Green Tomatoes from Boort, Bress Winery and Orchard in Harcourt and Heathcote Wine Hub.
The app was funded by a Tourism Victoria grant.
To search for the app on an iPhone or other device, search "Bendigo Food n Wine" in the App Store or Google Play.
