Diver springs to double silver at national titles

BENDIGO diver Abby Rowley has twisted and turned her way to two silver medals at the School Sport Australia national championships.

The Girton Grammar student earned a podium finish in the 13 years girls springboard on Wednesday, splitting the two New South Wales divers who were first and third.

She then teamed up with fellow Victorian Amy Kenny to claim silver in the 13-14 years girls synchronised event on Friday.

This is the fourth year in a row that Rowley has won medals at the SSA carnival.

Bendigo Senior Secondary College student Megan George was sixth in the springboard, platform and synchro events, competing in the 17-19 years division.
