Bendigo United's Matt Pinniger and Strathdale-Marisitans' Travis King were named as the opening batsmen in the team.
Pinniger made 645 runs at an average of 58.65 for the Redbacks, while King compiled 613 runs at an average of 61.3.
Former Strathdale-Maristians batsman Mark Brown was named 12th man in the team after making 594 runs at an average of 54 and taking 15 wickets in Shepparton cricket.
The Northern Rivers Team of the Year:
Matthew Pinniger, Travis King (Bendigo), Luke Carter (c) (Murray Valley), Paul Arandt (Seymour), Tyler Larkin (Shepparton), Taylor Beard (Goulburn Murray), Dean Fulco (Seymour), Matthew Rose (Seymour), Brenton Campbell (Shepparton), Mark Nolan (Seymour), Brenton Louden (Murray Valley), Mark Brown (Shepparton).
A Northern Rivers Team of the Year function will be held at the Kyabram Club on Sunday, July 27 from 12.30pm.
