NEWBRIDGE won a one-goal thriller against Inglewood in Saturday's 14th round of the Loddon Valley Football Netball League's A-grade netball competition.

Playing on its court at Riverside Park, Newbridge led 43-42 when the final whistle was blown.

The favourites were victorious in the other three A-grade matches.

The second-placed YCW won at Bridgewater, 58-43.

First-placed Calivi United fought on to score a 46-40 win against Pyramid Hill.

The Mitiamo Superoos bounded to an 11-goal win against Bears Lagoon-Serpentine.

In this Saturday's play, YCW takes on the fourth-placed Newbridge at Backhaus Oval in Golden Square.

The third-placed Mitiamo faces the fifth-placed Bridgewater.

Pyramid Hill hosts Bears Lagoon-Serpentine at Mitchell Park, and Marong takes on Calivil United at Marong Links Oval. 

Meanwhile, Mount Pleasant's A-grade team fought on for a five-goal victory against Lockington-Bamawm United in their Heathcote District Football Netball League clash on Saturday.

The Mount Pleasant Blues won a great battle on the Toolleen Reserve court, 30-25.

North Bendigo's remarkable run kept on rolling as it chalked up a 13th consecutive victory.

The red, white and blue scored a 77-22 win against Elmore at Superior Roofing Oval in Atkins Street.

The Huntly Hawks soared to a 43-30 win against Heathcote at Hy-Line Australia Oval, Strauch Reserve.

Colbinabbin teamed superbly at Tint-A-Car Oval in White Hills to beat the Demons by nine goals.

A closely-fought contest ended in  48-39 win for the Grasshoppers.

In next Saturday's play, North Bendigo travels to Lockington to take on the LBU Cats.

Leitchville-Gunbower takes on Mount Pleasant, and Elmore hosts Huntly.

Heathcote has home-court advantage at Prendergast Oval for its clash with White Hills.
