Bendigo residents and chefs Clark Watt and Roger Murdoch will cross the strait with fellow chef Brendan Websdale to donate their time and skills.
They will prepare a delicious dinner as part of the fundraising event.
The three men will join a team of teachers and parents rallying to keep Sprent Primary School up and running.
The school's enrolment is currently at 43 students and was just dealt more cuts to their funding.
Mr Watt said he was originally from King Island and still had family ties in Tasmania.
He said his neice and nephew went to Sprent Primary School.
"The event is organised through the schools Parents and Friends Association," he said.
Last year's event raised $8000 tripling the schools funds allocated to extra-curricular activities.
