When one looks at secular man who does not admit to the existence of God, then the paradigm of life is reduced to the material and the immediate.
If man replaces God, man becomes god.
The question then is, which man?
By this I mean that without God there is no higher authority than man himself. What reason can you advance for being honest, loving, respectful, forgiving, caring, faithful, or moral?
It is Christianity that has advanced the cause of women throughout history, not atheism.
It is Christianity that moved to end slavery, build universities, began hospitals, reformed prisons, began charities and so forth. Not atheists.
I commend Christian education in state schools.
Looking at the direction of society today, I would say it is needed.
