THE Ballarat Miners capped a remarkable second half fightback to win Friday night's basketball clash with the Bendigo Braves by 11 points.

Ballarat dominated the last five minutes of the contest at Bendigo Stadium to win 93-82.

THE Miners wiped out a seven-point deficit at half-time to gain a three-point lead going into the final quarter of the clash between the fierce rivals.

Ballarat dominated the third term, 21-11, before a stunned crowd at Bendigo Stadium.

The Braves led 49-42 at half-time before the Miners took charge.

Dustin Salisbery scored 14 points for the Braves in the opening half.

Bendigo has shown it has plenty of attacking options as Kevin Probert, eight; Zach Atkinson, Taylor Bell, Michael Vigor and Josh Wilcher have all scored six points apiece.

Best for the Miners were Ken Horton, 16, with Nathan Sobey on six.

The night's play at Bendigo Stadium tipped off with the Champions IGA Lady Braves scoring a 62-39 win against Ballarat Rush.
