Miners on home turf for clash with Monash Uni

THE Keech Australia-backed Bendigo Miners rugby union team is on home turf at Epsom-Huntly Reserve for Saturday's VRU division two clash with Monash University.

The Northern Panthers forfeited last weekend's battle with the Miners.

A fortnight ago, Bendigo beat competition leader Maroondah Griffins.

“We have four games left before the finals and we want to win all four to give us momentum. I believe we can do it," said Bendigo captain Joseph Drahm.

Bendigo is third on the ladder and Monash is fifth. The match kicks off at 3pm
