A practice day hearing date has been set for the Bendigo mosque Victorian planning tribunal case.
The Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal has confirmed that a hearing will be held on July 17 in Melbourne.
It has not been confirmed whether it will be a closed session or not.
The hearing will determine whether anything in the application should be struck out, eliminating all concerns not based on proper planning grounds.
It will also consider whether the applicant is required to provide further and better particulars of any of the grounds in the applicant for review and whether a suppression order should be made.
The tribunal application is a closed file and cannot be viewed by anyone but the parties; it does not include the applicants name.
"The applicant shall be referred to as ‘JHX’ in documents published by the Tribunal," it says.
"Any matter which is likely to lead to the identification of the applicant is not to be reported."
