Halloran said it was important to stay in touch with A-grade's top four teams, North Bendigo, Colbinabbin, Mount Pleasant and White Hills.
“We probably dropped a few games earlier in the season that we shouldn’t have,” she said.
“We have had a bit of a break since our last game, so we have to play strong this weekend.”
Lockington will play against Leitchville on Saturday afternoon.
“We aren’t taking any team lightly, so it should be a good game,” Halloran said.
The Cats have come close to defeating several of the top Heathcote and District teams this season, but have ultimately fell short.
“It is anyone’s chance this season,” Halloran said.
“North Bendigo is on top, they haven’t lost a game, but that was like us last season.
“We dropped one game all season and lost in straight sets in the finals.
“Finals netball is different.”
