Owner Fiona Nunn is familiar with how hard it is to get a begrudging child to agree to a hair cut.
So, she started this family orientated hairdressing salon.
It caters for children, teenagers and adults.
"We cater for the mother of the bride down to flower girls," Mrs Nunn said.
"We do beauty and hair."
The salon concentrates on family and taking good care of customers.
Mrs Nunn said the salon hoped to understand the difficulties encountered with hair cuts.
"The parents can enjoy relaxing without stressing about how the kids are going," she said.
"They are five steps away from their child at all times.
"We realise parents need to take five minutes' break sometimes.
"We want our visitors to feel just as comfortable as you do at home."
She said the business also concentrated on ensuring ample space for prams and wheelchairs.
Mrs Nunn said she had a background of nursing and public care.
She said with her children now teenagers and self-sufficient she wanted something to keep her busy.
She noticed a hole in the market and filled it with this family salon.
She is supported by qualified hairdressers Ebony Brown and Renee Ahearn.
She said Renee was a mother with two toddlers who valued the salon's concept.
Each of the children's cutting stations has different themed seat.
"We have a Barbie car, a police car, a race car and a SpongeBob chair," Mrs Nunn.
"Each of the stations also has its own television.
"We also have a vintage arcade game available."
Mrs Nunn said the company was a unique addition to the Bendigo area.
"We are one of two stockists of special ammonia-free shampoo and colour products called Natulique," she said.
"They are safe for every member of the family."
