Teams featuring local girls danced, jumped and tumbled their way to trophies at the Australian All Stars Cheerleading Federation Winterfest event.
The three-day competition featured about 3000 cheerleaders from 400 teams.
The Bendigo Blitz All Stars hip hop group TNT won the doubles dance 12 years and under division, while Bendigo Blitz Insanity came second in the open group stunt 14-and-over category.
In junior cheer sections, Bendigo Blitz Tornados claimed third place in the 14-and-under small group and newcomer Bendigo Blitz Cyclones was third in novice 14-and-under.
Bendigo head coach and Cheer ‘N’ Dance director Kim Mannallack said it was an exciting time for the club and she was proud of all her students who took part.
Three other Bendigo region girls who compete for Cheer Factor All Stars in Tullamarine were also among the trophy winners.
Leticia Hunt and Taeah Brown’s XLR8 squad came second in senior cheer 10-18 years and was runner-up in the level one Grand Champion team award.
Heathcote’s Taylah Kurrle had an exceptional weekend - her teams came first in open level three co-ed, first in senior level four co-ed and second in junior pom.
