A 37-year-old Riddells Creek woman walked away with only minor injuries after the campervan she was driving lost control and rolled on the Midland Highway on Tuesday afternoon.
Leading Senior Constable Darren Sherger of Goornong said a rear tyre blew out and the campervan travelled out of control for more than 100 metres in the direction of oncoming traffic.
He said she was lucky to be in the state she was.
The highway was closed for two hours as CFA cleared the leaking fuel.
Leading Senior Constable Sherger said the woman, travelling from Echuca to Bendigo with her two dogs, was lucky there was only minor traffic coming from the north.
He said it was important people ensured their tyres were roadworthy.
The woman was taken to Bendigo Health for observation.
