The 21-year-old made a big impression in her first season with the Spirit, averaging nine points and 3.7 rebounds per game.
Her impact off the bench and versatility was a key ingredient to the Spirit's second-straight WNBL championship.
Blicavs said she was excited to remain part of such a successful club and hopes to have the chance to compete for more championships in the years to come.
“Winning the WNBL championship last year was such a great experience to have as a young player,” Blicavs said.
“To be able to sign on with the team for a further two years and play with such a great group of girls while hopefully continuing to compete for championships is an opportunity I couldn’t pass up.”
Spirit coach Bernie Harrower said Blicavs has the potential to be a star of the WNBL.
“Sara is a big part of what we’re building in Bendigo and we’re very fortunate to have her back as an important contributor with the Spirit for the next two seasons,” Harrower said.
“Her versatility and athleticism gives her a unique skill set in our game and she continues to tap into her potential and improve. We’re looking for Sara to take another leap in her development and take her game to the next level.
"We're expecting her to be a major player for us this season."
Blicavs will join the Spirit after completing her commitments with the Geelong Lady Supercats in the SEABL where she’s currently averaging a team leading 16.6 points per game.
