Bendigo led 77-63 at a quarter to go on Geelong's court at The Arena.
The Supercats upped their play at both ends of the court, but it was the Braves who won 96-91.
Bendigo's attack was led by Josh Wilcher, 24 points; Dustin Salisbery, 23; Michael Vigor, 14; Taylor Bell, 13; Kevin Prober, 11; and Chris Hogan, 10.
