SNOOKER fans are being treated to exhiliarating contests in Friday night's quarter-finals at the $500,000 Snooker Australia Goldfields Open in Bendigo.

A place in Saturday night's semi-final is at stake as the aces do battle at Bendigo Stadium in Marong Road.

The clash between Stuart Bingham and Mark Davis went the distance.

Davis won the last two frames to clinch a 5-4 victory.

The 2011 Goldfields Open final was won by Bingham.

Top seed at this tournament and last year's runner-up, Australia's Neil Robertson has won through to the semi-finals.

Robertson scored a 5-2 victory in his quarter-final duel with England's Robert Milkins.

China's Xiao Guodong and England's Judd Trump have won through to Saturday's semi-final. They will play from 1pm.
