The documents are change impact statements listing positions to be re-defined, made new or abolished. Financial savings to be made from structural changes are included. For example the document dealing with structural change to the library proposes savings worth $2.22 million.
This figure is calculated from the current financial impact of the library on university expenditure, $12.23 million, and the proposed expenditure, $10.01 million.
The document proposes at least 14 redundancies, as well as other "affected" positions in the library.
The library document states: "Change at the university is now a necessity and if changes are not put in place the university and the library will be significantly adversely impacted in the future."
The narrative is similar across all teaching faculties, student services and the graduate research school with even more redundancies in other areas.
La Trobe University management spokesperson Tim Mitchell said the institution had "always made it clear there would be fewer roles in a new structure".
Mr Mitchell said changes would be felt across all campuses but that Bendigo was not being disproportionately targeted.
