The awards recognise excellence in suicide prevention.
The nomination is recognition of the Bendigo Advertiser's continued work with the Suicide Prevention Awareness Network central Victoria group and the city's Suicide Awareness Walk in March each year.
''It is an honour to be nominated for a Life Award as it demonstrates your commitment to suicide prevention. It is individuals and organisations across the nation that help break through the stigma and work toward positive change in prevention, intervention or postvention of suicide,'' a SPA spokesman said.
The Life Award winner will be announced during a welcome reception for the National Suicide Prevention Conference in Perth on July 23.
The Bendigo Advertiser won the Life Award in 2012.
