Money was raised from the cost of entry to the dressage, show jumping and cross country contests as well as the canteen and a raffle.
Club secretary Michelle Cole said the Mandurang South Horse Trial was their main fundraising event of the year along with a second one in September.
On Sunday they had more than 100 entries, with some riders travelling from Horsham and Swan Hill.
"We got some really good feedback about it, that it was run really well," Ms Cole said.
She said families associated with the pony club volunteered time at working bees to organise the event.
"You might get kids who don’t always ride but they’ll sell raffle tickets, helping to set up show jumps and judge. There are lots of wonderful volunteers in the club," she said.
Ms Cole said the funds would go towards course maintenance and equipment.
