The 15-player squad includes Tessa Lavey, Gabe Richards, Kelly Wilson and new recruit Belinda Snell.
The players will attend a six-day camp in Terrigal on the New South Wales Central Coast.
The camp is set to be the last chance for the Australian team to prepare for the world championships, with the Opals also set to tour Japan in late July and early August.
Opals head coach Brendan Joyce said the camp would prove defining for many of the squad's players who hope to remain involved with the program.
“This period of our preparation is challenging as it is exciting for all involved as we draw closer to making the decision on the final 12 that will represent the Opals in Turkey,” he said.
“The six days will be another opportunity to build on the great work we have done with the squad over the past six months and further integrate those players returning from abroad.
“With the upcoming tours of Japan and Europe, as a coaching staff we need to start thinking about who can contribute to the team at the World Championships – this camp will play a significant role in defining who those players will be.”
While on the camp the Opals will play a scrimmage game against the New South Wales Country Men's under-20 team.
The camp will run between July 6 and 11.
