Car crashes near Gisborne
A man in his 40s was taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital Wednesday morning in a stable condition after the car he was travelling in crashed near Gisborne.

The accident happened just before 4am on the Calder Freeway when the car ran off the road.
An ambulance spokesman said the SES worked for some time to free the man after he became trapped.
He sustained minor injuries in the crash.
