The government body purchased the trailers from Heathcote business Easytow Boat Trailers and will put them to good use this coming summer, waterway user safety manager Paul Corkill said.
Mr Corkill said Lake Eppalock, in particular, had become a "hot spot" for boating accidents over the past couple of years and it was a TSV responsibility to encourage safe boating practice.
"With the last couple of summers there has been quite an increase in incidents, probably because the water level has finally returned and there has been the activity there we haven't seen in previous years," he said.
"In the last two seasons there has been 23 serious incidents at Lake Eppalock, including tragically a fatality where a girl was killed when there was a collision between two boats.
"A big part of our message is working with people to encourage them to, and forcing them to, adhere to the speed and distance rules we have on Victoria's waterways."
Mr Corkill said the trailers had been specially made to tow TSV's jet skis.
"What we need for our role is very robust equipment because we are using it a lot," he said.
"New trailers are going to be a great push for our reliability and help us to be on the water more often.
"That is how we help to prevent boating accidents."
