She is the eldest of six children and she celebrated her 100th birthday at Bentleys Aged Care on Monday.
She celebrated with her cousin Betty Pelly and a number of other nieces and nephews from the Bendigo region.
Glenda Thomas was there to celebrate with her aunt.
She said her aunt was a community-minded lady who could often be found playing the organ for her local Anglican church.
"She is a very loyal Mitiamo person because, although she no longer lives there, she always keeps track of what is happening in the town," Ms Thomas said.
Ms Thomas described her aunt as "the boss".
She said she was always someone who lived very generously.
She said her aunt was a very organised person.
She said she was not a "fussy" person.
She just loved having family around her all the time.
Ms Haw travelled extensively around Australia and the world but often visits Mitiamo for the country farm life experience.
She now lives at Bentleys Aged Care with her cousin, Betty.
