The Australian team, which includes Harcourt's Shelley Chaplin, won against France on Sunday night.
The final score was 59 to 47.
Amber Merritt was one of the best for the Gliders, scoring a game-high 27 points.
Chaplin finished the game with nine points and eight assists.
France held onto an early lead in the first quarter however the Gliders managed to take back the lead in the second quarter.
The Australian's kept their noses in front of a determined French team to push the lead beyond 10 points at the final buzzer.
On Sunday the Australians had a big win over Peru but lost to the United States in its opening game on Saturday.
The Gliders will next take on Mexico on Tuesday and the Netherlands, in its last pool game, on Wednesday.
