Lynch will go head-to-head with some of Australia's most talented sporting students.
Lynch is a year 11 specialist sport student at Bendigo Senior Secondary College.
He said it was a great honour to represent the school and his state at the national championships.
"I’ve had a great year so far and have worked hard to get to this point and get my game good enough to be on a handicap of 1," Lynch said.
The Bendigo teen has had a successful year so far, winning the the Belvoir Park Junior Open Championship, Buninyong Junior Masters and the Bendigo District Junior Championship.
Bendigo Senior Secondary College principal Dale Pearce said he was confident Lunch would do the school proud.
“The whole college is right behind Kurtis," he said.
"I’m sure he will compete at the highest level at the national tournament.
"He is well on track for a great future in golf.”
The next challenge for Lynch and his family is to raise about $3000 to take part in the tournament.
Lynch is running a raffle and is encouraging anyone who wants to buy a ticket or would like to throw their support around him to contact him via email at lynchs@impulse.net.au
The School Sport Australia Golf Championships will run from August 24 to 30 in Toowoomba, Queensland.
