THE Bendigo Junior Football League regained the Goldfields Trophy after Saturday's five-match duel with Ballarat's young guns at Strathfieldsaye.
Bendigo won three of the five boys matches, and the girls also triumphed at Flight Centre Park in Tannery Lane.
Closest match was the under-15s.
Jordan Waldron kicked six goals in a best afield performance as Bendigo won by five points.
William Keck, Billy Robertson and Seb Spijkerman played key roles in under-15s victory.
Bendigo won the under-14s by 48 points, and the under-13s by 77 points.
Wins for Ballarat were the under-12s by six goals, and the under-16 1/2 team against Bendigo's under-16s by 14 goals.
Ainsling Tupper kicked three goals as Bendigo won the girls' match by 41 points.
Tupper, Ainslie Kemp, Isabella Ayre and Chamika Sadler were best,
